IT'S ALL YOU....THANK YOU!!!!

We're not going to sugar coat it...this year was rough. Starting with the "Fiscal Cliff" fiasco that threatened to end our lives as we knew them, and therefore imposing unnecessary stress on all of us right before tax season. Then, IRS pushed back the starting date for e-filing season a few times. For a while, we also had what felt like the slowest software ever. In addition, many of you had to wait on several forms that were unavailable because of IRS programming/design/implementation issues. Finally, we have humans in our offices.
But somehow, like a flower poking through a snow-covered field, or a small patch of green grass miraculously growing on stark "Katrina Brown" soil, we came through it. Not because we're some super-powered business or huge conglomerate. We know the reason for that success...YES, IT WAS YOU!!
You are the clients who exercised your patience this season more than any other season in our 30 years of experience. We're not singling anyone out, but here are a few instances where your class really showed through:
The client who brought Mr. Larry a cup of coffee during her appointment...
The client who referred five of her friends because, "you guys are the best!"
All clients who bought candy bars and raffle tickets (especially the one who bought about 25 candy bars)...
The client who every year, cheerfully exclaims, "hello, it's Larry's favorite customer!" and always brings a positive vibe to the office...
The client who, despite experiencing an asthma attack, patiently waited to get his taxes done and drove straight to the hospital right afterward...
The client who brought us the article cutout about the LA Citizen's credit...
The client who asked about the price and incredulously said, "that's it?!?" and tipped Mr. Larry...
The countless clients who asked how Mr. Larry was doing, saying things like, "Larry, you're looking great," "stay strong, my friend, "glad to see you've got your color back," etc...
Clients who appreciate Mrs. Alma's hard work, and asked, "where's your Wife, Larry?" whenever she was away from her desk...
Clients who didn't mind giving Michelle and Carlos a try...
All the clients who patiently sat and listened to the radio, read magazines, made new friends, checked out the memes, clicked on the scan codes, called their friends, etc. while we were servicing those ahead of them...
THANK YOU VERY MUCH. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO SERVE YOU THIS YEAR, AND WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!
