Special Enrollment Periods for complex issues

Source: healthcare.gov - Dec 21, 2017

IMPORTANT: Recently impacted by a hurricane?

If you qualified for a Special Enrollment Period to get coverage for the rest of 2017 but were unable to enroll due to Hurricanes Harvey, Maria, or Irma, you may be eligible for another Special Enrollment Period. To qualify, you must live (or have lived during the event) in a county in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, or other state meeting the level of "individual assistance" or "public assistance" by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). If eligible, you have through December 31, 2017 to complete your 2017 enrollment and request a retroactive start date based on when you would have picked a plan if not for the disaster. If you live in or moved from one of these states, you may also be eligible to apply for 2018 coverage through a Special Enrollment Period. For help, contact the Marketplace Call Center.
