Reader's Digest once ranked Bayou State roads the worst in the nation -- 50th among all states -- when they looked at spending, congestion, road and bridge condition, and safety.
Last year, the US Transpiration Department said 62 percent of Louisiana roads were in poor to mediocre condition. It's one of 14 states to have 60 percent or more.
So how can Louisiana improve roads? The better question is, how much is Louisiana willing to spend, and willing to take from you?
