LA 2015 sales tax holiday

Aug 3, 2015

Hello everyone!

This weekend (8/7/15-8/8/15), Louisiana is having its annual sales tax holiday. Basically, it means that you won't have to pay sales tax when you purchase most tangible property that costs less than $2500 on those two days.

Tangible property includes pretty much anything from pencils to printers, to video game consoles, furniture, tools, auto parts, clothes, etc---one major exclusion is automobiles.
