Taxes won’t get much simpler with new W-4 form in 2020

Nothing is certain in life, they say, except death and taxes — oh, and perplexing tax forms.

The Internal Revenue Service is doing a refurb on the W-4, the pesky tax withholding form that tells employers how large a slice to cut from your payday. But don’t expect the new edition to be much more user-friendly than the byzantine form it replaces.
