We're Hiring! $11-$14 per hour, DOE

May 1, 2018

*******POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED*******

Looking for someone to join our bookkeeping service office as a FT (40 hr/wk) employee. We offer bookkeeping and payroll services to small businesses in the GNO area and we're looking to add a person to our team...why not let that person be you?

This is not a part-time or temporary position. The person we hire will work a typical 40-hr week (8:30am - 5:00pm, M-F) and will also have real working knowledge of most tasks we do on a daily basis. All applicants will take a written examination to assess their level of "working knowledge" of the following, listed in order of importance:

*Self motivation, drive; quick learning, punctuality; accuracy, and attention to detail
*Proficiency in Peachtree by Sage Accounting or Quickbooks software - including reconciliation of accounts
*Employee payroll check withholding and deduction calculations
*Sales tax return preparation and filing platforms
*941 liability calculations and EFTPS payments
*Quarterly payroll tax form preparation and filing platforms
*Familiarity with license renewal forms, personal property tax reports, NOEHA, and insurance audits
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

The test will be quickly graded in your presence and if its results are agreeable to us, you will be further interviewed.

The interview will serve as an opportunity for us to review your resume and describe the position and its responsibilities in more detail. Even more importantly, we will address any questions you may have about anything pertaining to the job--lunch, compensation, parking, vacation, dress code, retirement, overtime, holidays, insurance, etc. at that time.

If your test score isn't high enough to consider you for the position, we will not waste your time and will thank and wish you "good luck" as you continue your search.

After you leave the interview, expect us to check your work references--especially those within the past three years. We will not hire anyone for whom references can not be verified--no matter how good your qualifications may be. If you suspect that there will be a problem when we contact your work references, mention that during the interview to give us your side of the story and a reassurance that whatever the issue was, it will not repeat itself. We understand there are always two sides to a story...and then the truth, so do not be afraid to list all pertinent references.

We expect to contact the new hire no later than the end of June, but could be sooner if YOU"RE THE ONE!

We can accommodate starting dates so you can properly submit your two-week courtesy notice to your current employer.

Hope to interview you soon.
